We have just received our long awaited Bob Marvel 22lr Conversion kits for the 1911. These have been in the works with Nighthawk and Bob Marvel for the past 3 years. Here are some of the features:

-One size fits both Commander and Government sized single stack 1911s No need to have two different units if you own both sizes of 1911s. (yes, double stack 2011 styles are on the drawing board and coming soon).
- Locks back on the last round
-Fits into every standard 5" 1911 holster
-Fully Adjustable rear sights that are completely dehorned and recessed into the slide protecting the blade while ensuring you don’t accidentally rip a shirt while practicing your presentation skills
-Match Grade Accuracy: More testing is being done at this time and will be updated in the near future, but with specified ammunition, one-inch ten shot groups at 50 yards are guaranteed

I had one of the Marvel-designed units from STI for my Trojan. I believe they were made by Advantage Arms. Nice unit that shot extremely well, but I was never able to get more mags than the one it came with. Ended up selling it when I needed to raise some funds. Hopefully additional mags will be available for these, and not at $100 like the Tactical Solutions ones for the new STI conversion kits.
