I can say that this ammo is good stuff. I have fired about 300 rounds from my crate of 1200 with zero problems in both my Chinese and Russian SKS rifles. (I usually shoot MFS.) I don't clean them after every outing to the range, and when I do, I rarely go for "parade-ground clean"...no issues w/ rust, so when they say "non-corrosive", you can believe it's non-corrosive.

I think its a great deal. I've had my eye on picking up that combo for awhile. Then Westrifle started selling those Beautiful SKS's and vaporized my budget. Hopefully CanadaAmmo will still have this combo deal for another couple of weeks or so!

The whole thing, barrel and receiver comes out of the wooden stock. Do a search on youtube for SKS stripping or dis-assembly there's quite a few break down videos.

There is also an excellent sticky in the Red Rifle section explaining how to strip it. Very easy to follow.

I have a '51 Tula and it's a blast to shoot.......... They are just pure fun. Don't go looking for MOA groups, this rifle is about blasting away lots-o-ammo.
