We do not have a mailing list. It is not something we have been asked about until now, considered, or have the ability to administer at present. We do advertise all our latest specials on the front page of our website, our specials flyers on our website, and now on CGN.

We do not stock anything at present, but it is something we are able to order from our suppliers. We will look into stocking these items after SHOT, if there is enough demand.

Someone may have asked in an earlier page but are you just scratching the surface with your ammo selection as far as the web site goes?I don't see a rimfire price list.I'm wondering if you have bulk .22wmr?Thanks

Yes, we have a large selection of ammunition. Please call the shop, and they will be able to tell you exactly what is currently in stock.

It should be in the region of $30 to $50, depending on the weight and size, and exactly where it is going. When you order the firearm, the staff will be able to give you an exact amount.

I only write this because you asked for suggestions. It would be helpful to know the shipping charges to various provinces for bulk ammo, also, I assume that the spam cans contain corrosive primers but it does not say. It may seem strange that someone from BC is considering buying ammo from you, but sks nuts seem to have been buying it up over Christmas. I will phone on tuesday, to check it out. Also, I recently bought a rifle from another dealer online (and phone), and when it arrived very quickly I was so impressed that I gave him positive feedback and will do business with him in the future. You seem to be the same by most of the comments here. It really makes people think you are 'on the ball' when shipping is done in a timely manner.

Thank you for your comments. This was exactly why we set up this thread, to hear from customers, and potential customers, how we can do better.

Shipping is a little difficult to post, as when we sell anything, we weigh the finished package, and punch it into our shipper's computer, and charge the customer what the computer puts out based on weight and actual postal code. As a general rule for rifles, it is around $50, give or take $10. Ammunition tends to be about the same, up to double that, depending on weight.

At present, the 7.62x39 ammunition we have is the corrosive type. We can get non-corrosive, but it is currently special order, and slightly more expensive.

I really hope you guys bring in the Weatherby Sa-08 line after SHOT as well as the Winchester SXP compact. My T-rex like arms make a shorter stocked shotgun helpful when it comes to actually hitting winter crows.

Let's seeee...where to begin.....
Many, many years ago, while delivering furniture in the back hills of NB, I stopped at a little Ace hardware store to grab a few things. At that time I was kinda surprised to see that they sold a few guns.
Always a "gunnut"...I stayed and chatted for a bit, bought some ammo and some targets then left.
F/F 15 yrs later...I happened by there again, and I wondered..... if they still had those same few guns..I figured I'd stop and have a peek....WOW...half the hardware store was GONE...and it was now a packed gun store !! WOO-HOO !!...I spent two hours talking, looking, gawking and finally bought a B/A 22 cal with a scope and some ammo, then regrettably said good bye to some new found friends, and get back to work driving That was 12 years ago !!

Over the last 12 years , I've watched Ross and his buisness grow in leaps and bounds. ! I've purchased 15 firearms myself and helped at least 80-90 or more of my friends and casual aquaintenances get what they've wanted from Ross...aka...The Gun Dealer. That friendship still continues today! That little store has SOOOOO much stuff into it...soooo many guns on display..In the words of two friends of mine on their first trip up there...." it's actually unfreakinbelievable...holee sh*t " ! lmoa.....

We live about 6 hrs away from McAdam and we go up there usually 3 times a year...some times more!
It's such a great feeling to walk into a store, and have everyone happy to see you and you glad to see them again. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the doughnuts being delivered or the cooler full of fresh lobster for Justin and his crew LOL.
I like everyone else had an issue or two over the 10 years due to a lack of communication ( my part) or an honest mistake( their part) all was resolved very quickly with me always coming out with and a smokin deal on a Beretta 92FS and the "happy..happy...happy" smile !!

Let me tell you straight up what kind of buisness and family these guys are....a couple of years ago a good friend of mine and his fiance wanted to buy a couple of new guns,(( lucky guy found a woman who loves guns..heh heh)) I called Ross and he had only one of what they wanted. The only problem then was that both these folks worked 6 days a week and they really wanted to have a look at a few more guns. They drove 6 hrs from Halifax to McAdam and Ross came in and opened up his shop on a Sunday when he should have been closed to accomodate them. They found the other gun she wanted and left with both new guns, scopes and all the trimmins !! Another instance, we went up and my buddy bought a new rifle and scope..he wanted a set of Burris Z rings...they were sold out..Ross went and stripped a display model and gave him the rings for his new gun...half price cause they were used !! That Sir, is good Customer Service right there !!!

Any new comers to this fine establishment will NOT be disappointed! I know from past experiences that any thing that can be done to help you out WILL be done by these guys. I missed the trip up there last weekend with some of my buds as I was working....like Swartzenneger...I'LL BE BAAAACK !!

PS..... don't worry Justin...I'll be up later on this spring looking for my O/U Browning...and I'll have your lobsters then too !!
