Have to say... This gun is a blast. My understanding of mag capacities is that the black dog 50rd drum doesn't need to be pinned where the promag 32rd mags do need to be pinned to 10. This is due to the fact the the black dog drum is made for a different rifle and you'll need the m&p15-22 tower o convert it for this rifle. As the prowins are designed and manufactured for the m&p15-22, they are required to be pinned at 10rds.
How reliable is the Black Dog drum in these rifles? I've heard that folks had trouble getting them to work reliably in Ruger 10-22s.
My 50 round drum from questar works like a champ! No issues with the black dog drum and federal ammo in my 15-22.Originally Posted by CaptainKellog
