    Also noticed the body armor for sale.

    In BC you need a special permit to own it, not a PAL like you say

    That is incorrect, a PAL is suffient in BC. From goc.bc website


    Individuals who possess a valid firearms licence issued under the Firearms Act (Canada). Are except from requiring a permit
