mmmm 500 how do these guys get 49's. I go through the crates at our local gun store to get the pick of the litter and haven't ever seen a 49

I had a 49 but not with a spike so was told it wasn't a true 49. Don't want to turn this thread into another SKS education session. Was just curious. Cheers

It's an all matching '49, spike bayo - don't know if it's one of these unissued one's or not, but I'm assuming it is - we were chatting about it via email before this thread even started.

If you guy's want a 1949, they only had three (up on the web site now) and I just snagged the best looking one, but there's two left and I bet by the end of today there will be none.
