any plans on stripping the matte finish and polishing? Or are you going to keep the matte. I'm looking at getting a few also , not sure if I should go with the uberti cattleman or pietta. None the less still a sharp piece!

Waiting for mine Its in the mail !!! I got a nice custom made holster looks great.guy off of eBay contacted him directly, two inch drop holster all leather I wanted plain leather and I got him to tool in my initials. Paid 90 shipped from states if anyone is interested let me know Also I was stock on the 357 or the 45 but went with 45 because I don't really have and big bore handguns. Ammo is not cheap I paid 38 bucks before tax for 50 rounds. Wish I could afford the other model.

Any pics of your gun please

I think I'll be leaving the finish as is, I don't mind the flat black/flat brass look. The only reason I really went with the .45 is my reloading gear is coming with the setup for 45lc already so mise well get the big dog. I do have a pic of it, photobucket and my iPhone don't get along the best tho.

i'd like to get one in 45 colt just for historical purposes , but i'd like to get a few with different finishes in 357 / 38 spl because I already have a gp 100 and lever carbine in 357. Let us know how you like it thus far!

I bought the .38/.357 in the 5.5 inch barrel. I love the gun, and for the price, well lets just say it is good value. It's reasonably accurate...more so with the .38 rounds. I have shot over 100 rounds of .357, and over 200 rounds of .38

I don't have big hands, but the handle feels a bit small, and as a result, its a bit harder to hold on to when shooting .357.

    Overall, a good shooter
