    Is it normal for the ammo boxes to be a little wet? I just opened my crate up and they are damp and smell like mold.

    Yes and yes. Many have complained about this. I suspect it has to do with the humid environment they are manufactured and packed in.

    Yep had lots of that in my norinco.223ammo packages in the nice 20 rd boxes. Put on a mask and gloves and got rid of all the packaging. Probably only got rid of half the mold spores but it doesn't reek as bad now.

    they were stored for 20 years in a bunker. the plastic keeps the ammo dry, but not the crates
