The above is a stock photograph.

This is a non-restricted, semi-automatic, bullpup, centerfire rifle. It is chambered in .223/5.56, and has an 18.6" barrel with muzzle break. It comes with one AR-15 type 5 shot magazine.

Quantities are very limited, so to pre-order, please call the shop by telephone. We are expecting delivery in Spring 2013.

Is this different then the one that was deemed prohibited? As in, you have confirmed NR status?

For well over a year now, North Sylva has been working very hard with Chinese State Arsenals to redesign the receiver on the original T97A rifle. A few prototypes were created, and after a few tries, it seemed we finally got it right.

This newly made firearm will be know as the T97NSR. It is important to note that this is NOT a T97A. It has been completely redesigned from the ground up. We are currently in the process of finalizing on the FRT number and the new sample should be approved shortly. If everything goes according to plan, these should be in stores hopefully by early spring.

North Sylva is the distributor, and had this to say.

Canuck223 is correct. We will be stocking the North Sylva version, and unless there is a sudden drastic change, the specifications and classification will be as per the above.

If you are unable to call, which is the best way to secure one from us, you can email us to place you order.

However, email is usually the slowest method of communication, due to the volume we receive.
