I must say I am pretty lucky. My misses loves coming out shooting with me at the range. She never complains when I make a new purchase. This past month alone I picked up an HK P7, STI Spartan IV, Kel Tec RFB, 2300$ in ammo, 2 spare P7 mags, 10 LAR15 mags. And she never complained for one second or questioned it.

If anyone is interested I will trade her for a Steyr HS50 Magfed 50 BMG

My wife and I have found a happy middle ground after many long "discussions" about prioritys and firearms/paraphernalia purchasing.

When you have a family as most of you know you don't get to think about "me" as much as you did before kids, so to that end we decided that after the mortgage and bills were paid each week whatever I have left over is cut in half, half goes into savings which my my wife matches and the other half is to be used at my discretion.

both parties are happy and it's amazing how fast it adds up, and you don't have to worry about paying for the new furniture she wants,or trimming the giant maple in the backyard, or unexpected car repairs, or even christmas presents while your saving up for that German SIG that's supposed to be in anytime now.

It works for us, both of us are happy
