I work for CP in the parcel area. No we do not ship ammo. If it doesn't have fragile written on the box, expect that the box may see a few tosses in its life. Knowing that these packages are going through il be sure to set any heavy ones down lightly. I really don't need to get shot while at work....

I hope this is a joke ... did you ever see this SAAMI testing? I'm certainly not worried.

I sure hope there's no famine .. I was planning a couple orders in the near year myself ... well more like first quarter, but still!

Now that is an order,,good on ya mate!
I think that if enough people want norinco non cor 7.62x39 or other the chinese will make them,, that's what they do! However,, at what price? The stuff we are getting now was made 20,30 40 years ago labor was not even a factor and it is surplus, but if they have to make it now for retail , that will be a completely different story!
I hope there is still some to come in non corrosive!

It was a joke yes. But if it was marked at least we would know what were handling. If one of those packages ever broke in my work area people would be freaking out. I know better but i guarantee my co-workers would be going nuts.

I heard the same rumor. With the massive order of .45 and .223 by the US government, supplies will be scarce in 2013. I also heard there are new restrictions coming regarding the export of US made ammunition... meaning less will be imported into Canada. This was all hearsay, so take it with a grain of salt... could have just been the guy at the counter trying to get me to buy more rounds...

I missed out on the Norinco 7.62 x 51 and now on the 7.62 x 39.... I never seem to have the cash when I need it. I hope the 223 is still around in the new year.

This is why I buy ammo by the 5000 rounds at one time and not 1000 rounds at a time. I've been through the 9mm and .223 rem ammo shortages before and spent a entire summer shooting very little.

No if only I could find a retailer who would give me bulk pricing on 5000+ round purchases. That would be awesome.
