I'd like something in the 12 to 14 inch range that took rem chokes and had rife sights. Park or blued finish is fine, would be used for bear defense and bush use.

12 & 14 " with rifle / ghost ring sights and either interchangeable chokes and / or breacher attachments.

14" (+1 mag fits nice), screw-in's...but invector choke(browning, mossberg, winchester stoeger, weatherby, savage etc .812 x 32tpi), much more common than rem chokes, smaller diameter for the ability to use a lighter, "normal" bbl.
Medium weight, park'd or blued ok.
For a front sight, don't care cause I want to use it with your rail system, but a high vis bead/fiber optic type might be nice.
If you could do it for about the same price (or not much more) as having a smith do screw-ins you'd have a winner
