Will the new Varmint Hunter production slow down the Modern Hunter production or extend the MH wait times?
This is what my friend thought might happen to his.
Anyways, congrats on another FRT approval and keep 'em comin'.

Gorgeous. Indeed, if there was a payment plan, I'd be more tempted as well. Maybe it's a good thing lol. Non-restricted to boot. Wowsers.

I have a modern hunter, it is by far my favorite semi auto! Absolutely love it. I'd be all over purchasing a MV, but with the way thing are right now in the oilpatch I can't justify it. Plus my house needs a new roof next year. I saw the prototype upper (I imagine the same one as in the pictures) on my last days off when I was at ATRS seeing if a BCM KMR handguard would fit. I'll have to hold out and save some money to purchase one, maybe in 2017.
I believe it is good value for money, it comes with top notch components (Lija Barrel, Timney trigger, JP silent capture spring, etc), ambi bolt release, DLC hardcoating and craftsmanship that is 2nd to none. And awesome customer service, nothing beats being able to drive to ATRS and talk to Rick & his staff.
Rick, can you post the weights of all 4 barrel options please?
I think I may go with a light SS barrel and then upgrade to a proof CFW in the future if that is possible? Just dont want to spend another 7k upfront in the next year as I have already done that with the MV. If a barrel swap is doable in the future when funds are better, how much will it cost for the barrel and swap?
Thanks.

Once we actually have barrels here, yes. Being as we have just started to take orders for the rifles 2 days ago and have not yet placed orders for parts and barrels simply as at this point we do not know what quantities to order, we have nothing to weigh, yet. It will take a few months for our suppliers to produce and then ship these to us.
