    Plated Bullets

Western Metal is carrying a large supply of copper plated bullets for the Canadian market. Also known as TMJ (total metal jacket), and CMJ (complete metal jacket). The plating completely envelops the projectiles hard lead core – this reduces the exposure to lead at the firing line. Not to be confused with FMJ (full metal jacket) that has an exposed lead base. Our line of plated bullets is resized after plating. This is one extra step that most of our competitors do not do. It creates a more precise diameter with a smoother finish making them look and shoot better. They also have an additional 4 to 6 thousandths more plating than most other brands. This assures that the bullet retains its form from barrel to target. The extra plating along with the resizing gives you a superior bullet. You will immediately notice the difference at the range.

Judging by the price per 500, I'd say no. These are roughly double the price of Campro TMJ projectiles.

These are custom made for us out of the United States. We package them as Western Munitions.
