my dads nea lower fits my high standard upper as well as his daniel defense upper. no complaints from us. finish was well done as well
Grabbed one, tempted to get one or two more for later
Anybody know how well the NEA grey matches XM grey on old M16 receivers?
Killer deal....this'll be my 3 rd NEA....I think I've got a problem...
Fit and finish have been great on my previous 2 rifles.
they were tight fits though.....had to do some buffering with emery cloth on my Aero precision ceracoked upper to make it fit....but I think that was down to the thickness of the coating on the upper....my DPMS fit fine.
It's not that I'm new to this....I'm just an idiot...

The Aero upper I have is non cerakote. So should this one fit fine? Is it the Cerakoted uppers that have issues fitting?
I enjoy firearms and firearm accessories.
Can anyone comment on the colour of the lower? Will it only match an NEA upper?
the color is a very dark and very flat gray, with a "dry" look like a parkerizing. oiling it will make it look less "dry", but you'll still have a hard time matching it with something other than NEA.
For example, I have a Vltor MUR upper, which is a very flat black, and the NEA is even "flatter".
