Just bustin your chops. All I'm saying is i've never ordered from this company before and didn't get am order confirmation. Seems to be a standard thing these days when ordering anything online but hey what do I know. I just live on a small spec of land between a very very large chunk of land and a pretty big Island and don't have the luxury of just popping out to the local ammo dump. We deal with ferries every day. They can pull some douchy moves and be like that truck can't come on this boat with said item etc. For the price they offer I got no beef waiting. All I'm saying is I expected some sort of order confirmation
 
That's good to know. I just ordered a SKS sight adjustment tool last week and was about to call them and ask them why the hell I haven't gotten it yet. I only live a 4hrs away so it shouldn't take a week. I bet they send everything out that gets ordered at the end of the week instead of at the end of everyday.

I have ordered from them on three different occasions. Each time the order arrived on or before the predicted date. Most recently a case of ammo was ordered on Apr 11, predicted delivery date was Apr 24, and it actually arrived Apr 21...

Joke aside, i think they are busy lately, i ordered on April 15, and got shipped out on April 24...when deals are smoking hot, we should be expecting longer wait time.
 
Just as a guage.... I live on the opposite of the country, Nova Scotia, and checking through half a dozen orders placed with Can Am the average delivery time was 14 days give or take a day or two. That's shipping with both Canada Post and Can Par. I called them on one occassion and got excellent customer service. I should have a crate of ammo arriving tomorrow actually.

I'm with you, anyone that thinks this is rude needs to read some info. http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1067740-CanAm-away-until-Apri-30 they are CLOSED, you can CLEARLY find the dealer forum but CAN'T seem to read past the first five threads. bunch of LAZY buggers.

The western based Canpar office is making changes. All western shipments have been affected by the change. I ordered two crates on the 9th they arrived on the 23rd. (Southern Ontario)

This is kind of a myth about online gun retailers. No place waits a week to ship stuff out. Its about backlog. IMO their prices are good cause they don't have 30 people packing overnight orders and they don't run a retail showroom.

The wait is worth a bit of $$ saved.
 
i've met the guy that runs canam, super guy to deal with!!
i can't believe dealers have to post that they might be closed on a long weekend,
i mean it's a friggin LONG WEEKEND!
if ya don't get yer stuff, then scream from the rooftops...
it's a joke how many posts' i've read like this...and they all come back tryin to sound like they have a legitimate reason to moan/bltch/whine...
 
i don't know or care exactly what the wife orders from sears...
point was that (after ordering something)
she doesn't wear a spot on the floor pacing back and forth near the front door like most of us gun nutz do!
the moment we order something then the anticipation starts...i get it...
logic goes out the door and we turn into a spoiled brat...
i could call him and arrange for said item to be brought to burnaby gunshow, take a ferry, drive there,
pick it up myself and pay double the cost...just so i don't have to replace the flooring next to the front door

I get the bulk of my ammo from CanAm. I live in NL. 2-3 weeks, it always shows up, they always answer emails, pleasure to talk to, I check CanAm's site first if I am looking for something, if not there I work my way down through my other list of trusted vendors.

I ordered a Norinco shotgun that was defective. Had absolutely no trouble getting an exchange. Sent me a label so I could ship it back for free and they expedited my new one out here. From the time I talked to them I had a new (non-defective) shotgun in three days. Not sure what your issue was...
 
I ordered Thursday the 17 and still haven't shipped , not stressing just sharing my experience. This is my third order from them and this seems to be the norm... the price is right and free shipping.
