How good is Starline Brass

Looking for new brass for my 45ACP and was wondering if Starline was as good as anything out there.

Brass in general seems as hard as anything else to source. So looking for a quality brass to build my loads on.

I have a bunch of "Norinco" and other miscellaneous cases from the range but have a feeling the (Norinco) may not be as good as other manufacturers.

Any help and advice in establishing a baseline of "Good quality" brass would be appreciated.

Purpose of use : High accuracy at a reasonable cost

I use CCI Large primers normally and Campro 230 gr clad bullets.

One thing I hate about using premium brass in a semi auto... chasing after them.

Nothing wrong with your norc brass. I doubt you'll notice any difference in accuracy after all your brass and trimmed properly.

Ive never actually bought any starling, but have come across it alot. I would invest in it for revolvers.

YES! you need to open the package they come in.

Yup, I only used Starline brass in my Ruger Vaquero. I doubt I'd notice any accuracy distance in a handgun.

If you're looking to use starline for more accurate ammo then why use Cam-Pro?
You can buy Zero brand at CRAFM for nearly the same price and the quality is far better.
FMJ vs plated, more consistent diameter and base to ogive.

Chamfer the case mouth a tiny bit but very likely not needed, I just like to with new in bag brass.

Lots of .45 brass at the range in yellowknife. I always come back with more than I left with... Even about 250 once fired starline .357 cases! Thank you whoever you are, but put them in the brass bin...

Availability.. had difficulty finding Zero and there was some discussion if it was better..

Zero bullets are excellent, better than any plated bullets. But supply can be sporadic. But if you think the zero bullets are hard to find, that's nothing compared to trying to find starline brass
