Well Got my .50 Beowulf mags today. And I'm disappointed in the quality. My ATRS ones seem better made and are half the price. :nest:

So for the ones that are on the fence about purchasing these. I would get the ATRS ones instead. Unless you really want 14 rounds. The extra 4 rounds aren't worth the $$$ IMHO YMMV.

The PVC-50 do fit my Bushmaster M17's and my STI AR no problem.

I would agree. The plastic on the PCV mags have an insane amount of flex in them. When the new ATRS mags come in I will be buying some more. I find them superior in quality and like you say, 4 rounds really doesn't justify the extra 25$ for me.

I would buy them if I did not already have so many true Beo's. I also have ATRS first gen and think that PCV\s new design looks much better than the first gen. Might pick one up just to try it. Oh.... and.....

+1...absolutely.

+2. Mind you, one of the ones I got the guy assembling it snapped off way too much of the follower leg and it tilts way too much so that it does not lock the bolt back on empty! WTF! Why break off the leg as opposed to properly cutting them all down to uniform length. FFS!

About that...why do they snap off one of the follower legs? Is it really necessary? I've fired a Beowulf down south using Pmags (USGI's needed a little tweaking to run 100%) without issue so I can't see why the follower gets modified like that.

Couldn't figure that out either... Unless someone f'ed up with the rivet placement and instead of drilling another hole, snap the leg off the follower? Who knows...

Well if you don't want them, I'll take them off your hands... replace them with ATRS ones even.

Those ATRS ones can't come soon enough. :)
