The AR-15 is made non-restricted overnight, what changes happen?

Good luck with that. I'm not into playing games that will restrict my freedom, lose me my hobby, and negatively affect my family.

Doubtful. They'd just repeal the section referring to the ar15. Not add a section. Removing the section would make the AR15 like any other semi auto center fire.
1. Much cheering would ensue.
2. Bonfires fuelled by rum and registration paperwork would illuminate the night.
3. Retailers would increase the price of AR-15's by 100%.
4. EE would see a flood of heavily used AR-15's at 150% of new retail.
5. Retailers would be suddenly posting out-of-stock/backordered messages.
6. Nasty postings in Retailers forums would point fingers at the Retailers accusing them of profiteering and keeping supply low.
7. Retailers would have mass bans of users for posting in their forums.
8. Nation wide shortages of AR-15's and .223 ammo would cause rioting in the streets.
9. People would post on the CBC website that it is a Harper's fault.
10. The Army would be called in to put down the rebellion.
11. The governement would fall, and the Green party would take power.
12. The AR-15 would then be deemed Prohibited.

This seems like the mostly likely scenario to play out here....
lol in all seriousness of course no one can substantiate this. It all comes down to would you rather be informed to the level of the NFA or kept in the dark until they have something concrete. NFA likes to keep its people up to date, even if thats saying things like "The word is"

Give me hard facts, not speculation.
Fair enough, but personally I like that the NFA doesn't hold back the "rumours" that it has heard.
It may not come to be, it may, either way them telling us what they have heard is going on doesn't hurt that.
Still I respect that you need hard facts after all we've been lied to.
