I got mine a couple weeks back. Couldn't be happier. I own Colt, Stag and Daniel Defense AR's and you get a lot for the price of the Norinco. First thing I did though was rip it apart, right down to every last pin and spring and cleaned it. Mine was just drenched in oil.

I thought I had ordered a norinco, but when I checked the status with the cfc, it said it was a Polytech. What's the difference, if any?

neither make firearms, both are exporting companies. Guns are made in the same factory...then sold by Polytech or Norinco depending on the deal of the day.
