Well I got some of the seat backs in, I let the wife pick the color. I thought it was a sold color but it turned out to be marbled. The flash makes it look brighter than it really is. Im getting use to it, most that have seen it like it. To me it looks warn and weathered so thats ok lol. Next is fuel lines, and hopefully a test drive on Friday. Seems fitting for the first drive under her own power on the anniversary of D day

Since today was the 70th anniversary of D-day, the last few days I was getting her ready for her first drive today. Just alot of last minute stuff,,,,,, sooooooo here it is, the first drive under her own power. The wife took the vid and she isn't tech savvy so its not the greatest. Still more to go so more updates coming.

Well done, Vettes. Congratulations! That's a hell of an accomplishment!

How does she drive? Pretty "truck-like" I bet.

It was very sweet of your Mrs. to film for you, but I think it's time she switched to decaf...:)

Man, that is so sweet.

Congratulations on a great job. So few people would have the time, money and especially dedication to restore this old girl to her original condition.
