Careful with that.
IIRC there has been more than one court case on this very subject and they ended up with the person doing time for leaving their firearms unattended in a vech for as little as 3 hours and not following storage regs.
SHawn
Interesting. Do you have any links or sources I could check out for that? In the PAL course, (in Ontario anyway), there is a video provided by the CFO that states NRs merely need to be unloaded, out of sight and in a locked part of the vehicle, if left unattended in that vehicle. There is no indication of any time restrictions. They even state that the listed conditions must be met especially if one is going hunting and there are additional firearms and ammunition left inside the vehicle; but then, that is why I said in the end it would likely depend on the opinions of lawyers and a judge.
RCMP lab has back tracked on their position regarding these mags. We are now limited to 10 rounds max. So disappointing.
So on a whim they can have the mags pinned to 5??? They haven't even been made yet . And changes already!!!
Crap , this is really depressing news . I haven't received the email yet .. I also sold of 6 of my 20/5 round ones to help pay for these .
That said 10 round mags are still better than 5 round mags.
So i guess RCMP do come and read CGN after all, otherwise they wouldn't know about it being able to fit M14 as well
