If anyone really likes their HC3R mags, here is a new update, if you haven't seen it already!
I've contacted almost every Canadian dealer to find out if they will carry it.
HC Mags was kind enough to let me know atleast Canadian Outdoor Distributing will have them shortly.
I sent an e-mail to confirm this!

If anyone has this PLEASE let me know what you think!

I just tried these mags for the first time last week - I'm a believer now. 100% reliable in both my 10/22's. The stripper clip loading takes a bit of practice, but it's quick once you get the hang of it. Downside is you can't really 'top off' a mag with the stripper clip (nightmare) and you have to wait until you're totally empty. But not a real hassle... overall very easy to use and fit well the magwell. No wiggle at all.

I shoot Winchester 333, and HV Xpert in the 500 box format mostly because it's readily available and cheap for me ($0.045/round after taxes), through my HC3R mag. I'm not the biggest fan of using the stripper clip loading method. I bought this mag because it had good reputation for working well, but also because it had the thumb assist, which I prefer using. I find I load about as fast with the thumb assist as I do preloading the strips and then loading the strips in and out, and get very reliable alignment and operation this way. I was not as successful with the stripper clip method. There is an "allignment procedure" posted on youtube for when using the stripper clip loading method admittedly, but since I load directly using the thumb assist, it's not an issue for me. The last time I went out, I went through a box of 333, and I got 2 fail to loads where the hollow point nose got smushed against the feed ramp (only ever happens when the mag is loaded to the max 25 capacity, and happens within the first 2-3 rounds), and 3 fail to eject total where the case didn't totally clear before the bolt came back forward. I'm so happy with mine, I'm thinking about getting another one, maybe two. It's not like they're gonna get any cheaper.

natesfitness, not sure if it's the best price, and definitely not local to you, but I got mine from Al Flaherty's.

Thanks for the info!
Fantastic price just like their bushnell trs-25. $160 when most retailers are selling it for $115-$125
$70 + exchange rate/gst 1.15% + shipping $20 = $100.50
Nice

im tossing around the idea of switching over to these and am leaning towards picking up the tack pack to start.

Its all about margins.
Is it just me or is Hicals prices looking like EE prices?
Imo 25%-60% in my pocket is better than in others.
I know very un Canadian of me not to support local business. However with online sales now popular. It the way of he world to look for the best price.

Their Bushnell trs is $139 as listed on their website. The price of $160 you listed is the one with the included riser which is in line with most other dealers pricing. At least get your facts right if your going to bash a sponsors pricing. Correcting your shenanigans is very tiring.
