Hey guys, just saw this rifle for sale from one of our site sponsor for $5.2k. Did some research and there's not lots of material available anywhere. I know that the FSB’s elite counter-terrorism Alpha Group won team (1st place) & individual (1st & 2nd place) honours with it at the 11th Police and Military Sniper World Cup held in Hungary in 2012 but that's about it.

I'm wondering how would it perform against TRG's, AI's & let's say PGW's Coyotes... If any one has one or has shot one, some kind of review or input would be appreciated.

Good Shootin'

I had hands on the rifle at CANSEC and while only cursory in nature, my opinion is that it has some ergonomics issues from my limited exposure, the stock also need some further evolution in how it adjusts and fits the user, the forend is designed as a sporting forend and is very thin and narrow in nature.

Looking at the date of this post I hope mine isn't an unwanted addition to the subject.

I own an Orsis T-5000 in .308 as one of my licenced hunting and sporting rifles.

The prices of them in north america, canada, and U.K. it seems are quite marked up in comparison to what I paid, even in calculating exchange.
The 6-24x72 Hensoldt Systemtechnik optic and accessories I bought and imported from Carl Zeiss Optronics in South Africa was more expensive than the rifle, rifle being just less than 4/5 the cost.
Mine is or rather was stated was second hand Orsis factory refurbished, supposedly came from a government or police agency initially.
On it I received the new on factory refurbishment of the entire chassis and re-bedding, match 24.4" 1:11 twist 4 groove barrel and break, as well as the used refitted turned head spaced refurbished match 24.4" 1:10 5 groove threaded barrel that was from the government or police agency prior.
Also came with 9, used, 10 round magazines with it, in pelican case with all tools and accessories.
It's a left hand receiver and bolt with trigger adjustment of 500g-1000g, I've grown to like this better being right handed.

It is definitely a sub 0.5 MOA rifle between 400m-800m consistently, with several recipe reloads, and factory match ammo.
