Nordic 10/22 build by fellow CGN

So I was checking out all the cool 10/22 builds on the forum a few months back and came across a fellow GCN who was local and he had some bad ass looking 10/22 builds. I decide to PM him to see if he wanted to build a similar one for me or sell one of his, after talking through PM over a few weeks/month our build was coming together. This past Saturday the kind CGNer delivered to me my rifle. I took her out to the range the very next day and all I could say was how happy I was with this awesome little plinkster. Every round that was fired put a big happy grin on my face. I what to thank Graeme(CGN user name:gcdavidson) for all his work in getting all the parts and helping me find what was need to get this built. Here are a few pics of the rifle








 
Sam - glad you are enjoying it! You'll have even more fun when your H3CR mags come in. Did you shoot it with the EO tech as well?
 
Now that's a 22lr semi I would consider. Care to share the parts details and where to source them if I were to build one?
What mags are available? The long(high capacity) Donkey Dyk's ruin the look IMO.
 
Shot it with the Eotech at the range on both the 50yrd and 25yrd mark and it was shooting very accurate.

All this fine work was done by fellow CGN gcdavidson, he was able to source a lot of the parts for me, i only ordered the 7'' hogue hand guard and grip which i got from Brownells.

ive never really been interested in the SR/AR 10/22's but i find myself looking more and more at them of late.
i think i may have to add one of these into my Harem as my winter project this year!

i as well would be very interested in the shopping list and list of parts involved with that build.

I've PM'ed GCdavidson about his .22 build as well, and he seems like a stand up guy - super helpful, very open to questions, and even offered to help source out some parts for me too. Great looking build, will hopefully get mine done soon, and will post pics too!

Congrats to both of you on a truly fine build. Ruger should look at producing a factory model that looks this good.
A few questions here:
How much for the complete build?
Was the accuracy and reliability increased?
Is this a restricted rifle now due to barrel length? Looks shorter than stock, maybe the shroud makes it look that way?
Can this be done to the Remington 597?

Hey fellas. As Sam said, this build took place over a few months, so I may not be 100% certain of the parts. From memory, starting at the back:

ACE ARFX 9" stock + 1" buttpad - CGN EE, also avail from Brownells
10/22, forget where I got it, it was around $325 shipped
Nordic 3 part chassis with trigger gap filler - Iron Eagle Tactical
10" threaded ruger charger barrel - Ebay
Hogue FF carbine handguard - Brownells
Fake front-threaded silencer - Amazon

Length - never measured it, but should be around 29"

As for Rem 597, I'm not sure if this loock can be achieved as I don't really know the VTR specs. I went in a different direction with mine (shameless self promotion pic):
