Tactical Innovations 10/22 25 rd mags

thanks, seeing as we can't have BX-25 mags here.....I hear Tactical Innovations mags are as good or better than the factory Ruger mags.

I would gladly pay the high price for a 25 rd mag that is as reliable as the standard rotary Ruger 10 rounder. I like the aluminum ones from Tactical innovations

People do sell them, keeping them in stock from an american supplier is the hard part.

Only if speed loaders are available for them, otherwise nope. I'll stick to steel lips.
My BC speed loader loads any 10/22 mag I have tried in it including the TI's plus just about every other type I can think of. The only one that was a little finicky was the H3CR or whatever it is called that uses the stripper clips and that mag gave me nothing but problems anyways and is long gone.

They are not banned, I have half a dozen of the metal mags... got them when they still shipped to Canada, many moons ago... they are decent mags and function well... but not any better than BC Steel Lips... spray the smoke BC/SL mags with flat black Krylon and they look good too.

I tinkered with their site a wee bit more and found another menu.
Took a browse through and found some decent deals on scopes too.
Dogs dinner was an hour late.
Since I joined this site , last Dec,a lot of things have been late. :) I recently purchased a Magpul CTR stock and Buffer tube assembly for my SR22, from IRonguns.com. $160 ,then had to pay another $33 when it got to Canada. So you have to factor in all the additional costs.

I'm using 2 BC smoked mags and every time the it goes , first shot then five stove pipe, bent projectile, fte, then 10or 15 good shots , then another stovepipe . 500 rnds in them now.

I bought some of the TI-25 mags from IRG for my 10/22 Takedown and they've been running flawless for me. You do have to set them up which is a bit of the pain but they do work great (at least for me). You can disassemble them for cleaning too which is a bonus.

i find these only work in 2 out of my 5 10/22's and those 2 they do work in was painfull to set up.
seemed like it took me a month to get them set up right.
now that they are set up they function good but for all the trouble i dont know if they where worth what i paid for them.

got them from Wanstalls, not sure if they still carry them.

TI mags once adjusted worked a lot better than BC magazines. I had one bc mag not feed, that caused the shell to detonate while still in the magazine.
I never bothered with the more expensive metal ones though, the composite ti magazines were good enough and priced right.

I've just been comparing the ruger mag to the BC mag . What I've noticed was that the cartridge pushes straight out of the Ruger mag and kind of bounces of the side of the BC mag. Is there a way to swap the steel feed lips? Also the Ruger mag is about 2 mm longer than the BC mag.
