Hey guys,

After saving for the last couple months, I think I have finally convinced the wife to let me get my Tavor tomorrow! Anyways, my question is do all new generation Tavors (with the full length upper rail) have built in BUIS? If not, do they all at least come with the rail mounted BUIS? Thanks guys

Yes it will have the built in BUS and it will come with a pair of flip up sights too

And post pics if you get it ! Mine will be here tomorrow, I won't be able to sleep tonight!!

Fired one for the first time saturday. A beautifull tan one with an eotech holo.

It was a israeli one.

Top noth rifle. Point naturaly. The control where "funny" tho. I'm used to AR's.

Enjoy and treat your wife VERY good for a couple months ha ha....

My Gen 1 Tavor with the Meprolight M21 had the integrated BUIS. Here is a pic of that Tavor, notice right behind the Meprolight optic, there is a rear peep sight that folds up/down.

My Gen 2 Tavor came with a rail & integrated BUIS from Canada Ammo and no removable BUIS. I later found North Sylva was selling the Tavor WITH the factory tritium removable BUIS... Sigh... Anyhow, I won't dwell on it, BUT I did manage to get a set of removable Tavor tritium BUIS off the EE...

Here is my current Tavor with an Elite 6500 on it. Detachable BUIS have been put on my KSG...

P.S. Here are the removable BUIS that the Gen 2 Tavors come with. You'll see the integrated BUIS on the rail when you handle the rifle, and the removable BUIS should be there to...

Don't rule out getting a Timney Trigger. I got one for mine and it's sweet. Not a cheap upgrade but it feels so much better. I've had no issues with it using the light spring it came with (new ones have heavier spring). It's literally 1 minute install....pop pins, drop old trigger pack...drop in new, push in pins. Done.
