Whos shooting a rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor
What is it ? Please tell me about it as i am thinking on getting a custom rifle starting with a Rem M700 action .

Look up ".260" and 6.5x55" and you will get an idea of the performance.
s ! But not what i asked ? RJ\The Creedmoor was designed for use in short action rifles with long bullets... it has become well accepted and can do whatever the .260 and 6.5X55 can do... plus handle those longer bullets with more comfort.

Congrats to her on the sheep, any pictures to share?I had one built on a Stiller action but Vanessa seems to have claimed in for her own. Great shooting rifle with low recoil. She's killed 3 whitetails and an elk last year and a big Dall ram this week with it. For a low recoil mountain rifle it fits the bill perfectly!

Sure seemed like what you asked... what do you want know? That basically it is a shortened .308 case slightly blown out (minimal taper) and with a 30 degree shoulder... it was designed to approximate .260 capacity but allow the use of longer bullets while maintaining a short action.... it is a good LR cartridge and a good medium game cartridge too... what else do you want to know? I had a M77 in the CM but have since sold it and intend to stick with my .260's and 6.5X55mm's... I only use the 129/130 bullets in 6.5 and don't need the additional mag length... if I was hell bent on 140's, I would probably still be using the CM.
s ! Sorryi know what the cartridge is and SPECS - i wanted to know what the RIFLE was You had it chambered in ! Ok

I didn't like that hornady was the only brass available
What bullet did she use for elk?
Hey TJ any advantage over the 260 or 260AI?
You asked who's shooting one and what it is. I was shooting one but no longer am. As to what it is, as has been mentioned, it's a short action case that will do what the 6.5x55, 260, 6.5x47 will do. I didn't like that hornady was the only brass available however you can make your own from 243 for example. I'm very happy with the 6.5x47 which is what I shoot.
