Because switching from one side to the other, or the other sized set of jaws, the little springs that push the jaws together have a tendency to f*** off at nearly the speed of light, finding the best hiding spots in your house. I'm pretty sure one of mine claimed refugee status in my neighbour's garage.
The one in the u-tube vid has the spring in a hole, not a groove. No springs going into orbit.
Very nice, they're on "the list." Unfortunately the list seems to get longer and longer...
I had an RCBS press and then got a a COAX. I wished I would have got the COAX first. I did find a guy that sells upgraded Jaw holders and purchased it - love it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BpFD7NbvL8
I cant remember but I think it was $14 shipped. I shoot 223 and 3006 and this plate has made changeover a lot easier - The springs stay in the holes and Im not playing hide and seek every time I have to change them - Well worth the investment! What did it cost you shipped?

There are a few big bore cartridges you can't load on a Co-Ax. but, that's life. I do like mine, I don't bother with worrying about changing the jaws, only things I don't do on it, are my 218Bee and .223, I could, but, I'm lazy, and for the 450/400, jaws are not wide enough, handle opening is too short.
I just use the green press for them. The Co-Ax is definitely the best of the single stage setups.
Care to tell me what it won't load ? Biggest I'm loading is 45-70. Guessing it should be fine for that. Now bullet puller dies is something I handn't thought of. Good reason to hang into the Redding.
Finally got my press going last night and sure enough those springs do f%#^* off at the speed of light. Spend 10 min looking for one, TWICE!
Tried the grease but maybe I don't have enough there.
I'm considering the upgrade. $50 is steep now but I might be wishing I spent it the next time a spring goes flying.
There's lots of room for a 45-70. I think the longest I've reloaded on it has been 7mm Rem and there was plenty of room. Granted, I was only using 139gr bullets but there is probably a 1/2" before you need to start wiggling bullets into dies to make it fit.
