What Rifle do you regret selling the most?.

Not the one that got away, or the one you should have bought......
The one you had to sell to buy your first house / get you through the lean times, or the one that was passed down and you foolishly sold.

It's a tough pick for me,
But I think it would have to be my unmolested M700 classic in 35 Whelen. 1/2 moa out to 300y.

My first gun, a pellet gun. Must have flung a truckload of lead through it. Daisy brand, lost interest when i got old enough to shoot real guns. Would have treasured it now.

For me it would be a winchester model 70 fwt in 7mm08 I sacrificed for something else a couple years back. Hopefully I'll find another one day....

The most? Ruger 77 in .17hmr first year it came out or tikka 595 in .22-250 or my lvsf in .17 rem.... One of those 3.

The irony is that the rifle that's foremost on my mind these days is the Marlin 444P Outfitter that I sold you a while back. I had to choose between keeping it or another prized Marlin, but I find myself longing for that 444. I've even kept the brass and reloading supplies hoping for the day that it, or a similar Outfitter, would return to me

I just love the handling of the short, straight-stocked Marlins... sigh.

I had to choose between keeping it or another prized Marlin, but I find myself longing for that 444. I just love the handling of the short, straight-stocked Marlins... sigh.

That one is on my short list of regrets (but my shoulder thanks me).... It's made it's way around the EE. That was a phenomenally accurate lever action.

Hah! I sold a really clean one for $350 in the '80s - because it 'only' shot 2 MOA. I figured surely I could find a better one; they were common as dirt, after all.......

I sold the same guy a G3 for $500 because I hated the way it wrecked the brass. I was not a clever man.
