Does anyone know the number for the BC CFO? I want to call to get my license number, if they'll even give it out. Darn I hate waiting for the mail.

Took the PAL and RPAL on June 21-22;
Received the paper work from the CFO on July 14;
I received a call from the CFC verifying my initials on my application on July 21;
I checked the site and it states that CFC received my application on July 21;
I called CFC on Aug 19 to determine if there's any missing information, they said I'm good to go, just need one reference to call in;
My reference didn't get to call in until Sept 3, interview went well;
I called CFC on Sep 4 to see if all is good, they said it has been electronically forwarded to the CFO for final background check;
Sep 8 morning, I called the CFO in Ontario and I left a message asking if there's any other info they needed;
I checked on line on Sep 8 during the afternoon and it states license has been issued!
Total days = 48 days.
I called CFC on Sep 9 to inquire about my license # - they happily gave it to me over the phone. I can't purchase any firearms until I receive the card. I asked if I can reserve a firearm with the number only, and the representative said it depends on the business.
CFC rep also told me that they print and mail out the cards every Thursday. Mine should be printed out tomorrow, and I should get it by EOW next week.

Well guess what....I called again today and they told me the processing wait is 45-60 day....and they noticed I called already this week so they do log calls....let's all be patient and just wait....we all wanna go shopping and get ready for hunting season .....patients is a virtue. Good luck guys
Yea they do log calls in...also have been following this post very closely and lots of ppl recently got they pall issued within 6 days following their mandatory 28 days wait.....I called a few times after 30 days and was told "everything is in order we are just waiting for your picture to be scanned and then it will be sent to your local CFO for final approval" she also mentioned to me that it takes 45 to 60 days to complete applications and that I should call back in another 30 days..... hopefully waterfowl season is still open by the time mine arrives

Just got a call for my interview..took a few mins and I'm approved..wooooo

Jajajajajaja after a bit of wait I got it ISSUED...IM SOOOOO HAPPY..I also got pal number and expiry date and did some shopping....I'm soooo happyyyyyy

In my excitement I didn't ask for my pal number..have to wait until Monday to call..
Is there another way to find out?
And my license was approved around 12est..think they ended up printing and mailing or is that only gonna happen next Friday?

I was told by one of the representatives that I spoke to that cards are printed every Thursday.
You can get ur pal # and expiration date by calling same 1800 # and ask them to transfer you to your local CFO (YOUR PROVINCE). In my case I wanted put down money on a firearm so they could hold it for me hold it. So they gave it to me. In don't know when their printing date is ..I think it's Friday...if u caught it then u will get it by next Friday.....

Is there a phone number for the Manitoba CFO?
I'm calling the 1 800 731 4000 number every couple weeks and always the same answer, It's with the CFO for final approval. They'll contact you if they need anything. I asked if I could talk to them and she said I'll have to wait and they'll call if something is needed.
This is nuts! 4 months and 21 days (143 days to be exact) since they received it.
..
I work for government and I'd be fired if I took this long to do something! Lol
