New M&P pistol line

Just announced is the Performance Centre "Ported" M&P.

Basically it's a M&P CORE, but the barrel is factory ported and the slide is milled to be lighter and accommodate the barrel porting. It also has an adjustable trigger set-screw along with the regular CORE parts. Available in 40 and 9, in both 4.25" and 5".

I just bought a CORE last month, and would have waited for this if I knew it was coming out. Oh well.

Oh mamma!! I'm glad I waited on buying a CORE. This gun looks very interesting. S&W looks to be trying to make the M&P a top contender for competitive shooters.

Interesting, definitely curious how much they cost. Also looks like it has an over travel stop. bet it shoots pretty fast.

I bought my CORE for $670 new, and it will cost another $150 to port it. It would be worth the $8-- to have a ported gun from the factory.

Those look good. I have a CORE 40L and love it. I may love one of those even more!
