Lets see some pics of your tactical shottys!

I just ordered the oversized GG&G charging handle. Next will be a surefire forward rail system, stubby foregrip and a mesa shot holder. MUAHAHAHAHA

Wolverine has the charging handle. I think they can get the mesa 6 shot holder too, just didnt have it listed on their page. As for the surefire foregrip, I will have to research that one.

Here are a few pics of my 870 Police after recently having it cerakoted by cerakotebc. Can't say enough about the excellent customer service and superior application by cerakotebc. No drips, no runs, no problems. Not only is this cerakote stuff tougher than woodpecker lips, but the action cycles WWAAAAY smoother since the coating was applied. All that, and now the finish on all the various parts now matches in a beautiful low sheen black. Only problem I have with cerakotebc is that now I'm going to have to spend a lot more money with them to get a bunch of other firearms cerakoted.....

As for the build: standard Remington 870P; Remington 870P 18.5" Low Profile (XS Sights) rifle sighted Improved Cylinder barrel; S&J Hardware extended mag tube & safety; Mesa Tactical 6-shot sidesaddle and sling point; CSM Gear single-point bungy sling; Surefire forend; SpeedFeed butt stock (I really like the separation of ammo this provides - buckshot on the sidesaddle and slugs on the stock).

All that's left to do is upgrade to Surefire's 200 lumen led head and replace the sights with XS's tritium single vertical post rear and Standard Dot front.

Here's a closer view of the Low Profile rifle sights:

These are BY FAR the best sights I've used for a social shotgun, and will only be made better with the addition of tritium. They are FAST, low-profile, and SIMPLE. I've owned and used bead sights, standard rifle sights, original Scattergun Technology ghost rings, Vang Comp ghost rings with integral pic rail, Aimpoint T1, and now the Remington/XS Low Profile rifle sights - I won't go back to the others. Despite all the hype, I never found a ghost ring was as fast as a bead sight, nor did they prove any more accurate than standard rifle sights when using rifled slugs. Although the T1 proved very accurate, I found the T1 was WAY too high when coupled with a standard shotgun butt stock, necessitating one to break the cheek weld with the stock in order to use the sight, resulting with much slower initial shots and splits. With the Low Profile rifle sights one gets the speed of a bead sight coupled with the accuracy of rifle sights. Another bonus that I REALLY like over ghost rings and pic rails, is that if I want to pull double duty with my social shotty and go bird hunting, all I have to do is swap barrels - with either a ghost ring or rail, you need to remove same before going bird hunting. FAST, simple, light, low profile - what more could one ask for?

870P Marine Magnum. Had some issues at first where the 5th round would occasionally jam. Finally got it sorted out!
- Magpul SGA, MOE, MS3, Vang-Comp jumbo safety, S&J follower, Inforce WMLx. Next up are Trijicon night sights.
