more info on VZ61 skorpion

The 9mm was only prototype. From an article I read there is only 1 9mm para in existence to date.

9 mak had been around for a while and yes I'm sure we will see these in do time.

CZUB made some in 9x19, but with completely different tooling. It is beefed up alot and much larger.
Sales were not there as it was competing with the all the other 9mm SMGs. (defeats the purpose of being a Skorpion)
There are a few floating around but very rare.

CSA does not have the access to the specs/tooling or the parts support from the armories.
Last time I inquired CSA, they were not available to make such a version as they dont even have a working sample to reference upon.

The only hope is that CZUB restarts production on their old Vz68/Sa361, but unlikely as they have moved onto the EVO 3.

looks like 9mm para was in limited production .

I love the looks of the wooden stock.

Yup, that's not the 9x19 para version

The one on the very bottom of the page is, world guns sucks as some of their info is incorrect.
Just scroll through the pages and you will see

On another note, how do you like the Galil stock on the compact Curtton?

the galil stock is one expensive stock but well design, well made and solid , best used with RD .

hey B , any chance your buddies can mod the vz58 wood stock to fit the skorpion , like in the above vz68 pic ? I like using the wire but it would be nice to have another option .

Well i just got a confirmation email back from CSA about their products.
My initial question was regarding a 22lr vz58 rifle.

They stated that they were still working on it and it will probably be ready for release by the end of 2015.
They then told me they are more interested in finishing the vz61 skorpion in 22lr before anything else!!!!

So i got it right from the horses mouth, CSA IS producing a 22lr skorpion :)
