See, I've had the opposite problem. I tell myself I'm only buying it so I can sell it later, and then it somehow stays in my collection well past the date I say I'll sell it by.
You shouldn't buy a firearm planning to sell it unless you found some crazy deal you just can't say no to and that even selling it "cheap" you are still going to make money.
I buy everything with the intention of keeping it forever but then the novelty wears off or something shiny catches my eye so I have to decide what to sell to pay for the new toy.
Friends tell me I'm addicted to the buying and selling and not the firearms themselves but I love everything I buy in the beginning. My Swiss Arms green target model, S&W 460V, Kriss Vector, HK USC, RFB, HK SL8-4's, A couple of my fancier AR's, and a couple others I'm probably forgetting were all at one time keepers for life then for various reasons they all got sold off.
I just picked up a sweet AR-10, a black chrome Israeli made XIX Desert Eagle 44mag and a 6 inch stainless Taurus Raging Bull 44mag in the last couple months (still waiting for the Bull actually), we'll see how long they stay in the collection. Right now I'm saying forever but who knows. They're all so practical
Hurry up already! I want to see some pics of this NERF gun. It's going to be something
