What's 14" long and a whole lot of fun...............................Think 590A1

The Mossberg 590A1 Compact is a great multi-purpose little shotgun.
It's in 12 gauge with a 14" parkerized barrel and receiver, bead sight and capable of shooting 3" shells.
The 590A1 has proven itself time and time again to be a proven performer.
Use it for just a fun gun, or a light shotgun that packs a big punch for hiking and camping and everything else in between.

I need to get my mind out of the gutter.

I'm not complaining about the sudden wealth of 14" 590's (already snapped one up the second they appeared, sorry Grumpy) but I am rather curious as to why they went from unobtainium to being everywhere all of a sudden.
Any insight you can divulge?

It will be mine...oh yes, it will be mine!

Heyy that's sweet {both of them} I have, perhaps, an older 590, {just says 590 only} just acquired. It has a factory heat shield & the bayo lug. Love how light it is compared to my {norc} shorty. Is there an Advantage to the 590A1 in function? Will a standard M9 fit or is it a larger ring/hole to slide on? I would like to get the Bayonet for it & perhaps a pistol grip stock. Are you selling them? Thnx in Advance.

Edit* I meant other then the ATI. Perhaps a factory p/g stock?

The 590 A1 is the straight military designation but it sounds like that might be what you have as it has a bayonet lug. The regular M9 bayonet will fit on it. You'd have to take a look at the Mossberg website to see all of what they offer in regards to the stocks etc. I would suggest looking at the ATI products though as their stocks are very nice and so are the Blackhawk models.

Ahh..kk, thanks for the response Grumpy! I'll look into what stock options you have. I guess you dont have any bayo for sale? & MARS ^^ Grumpy answered that on my question, it takes a standard M9 bayonet. Cheerz .. ~
