Has anyone heard anymore on those straight pull AK rifles that were supposed to be almost ready for market, but were just waiting on magazine approval. That dealer is no longer on the board and I'm curious to know what happened with this project. It has been almost a year now since we last heard anything on these.

It is for sale on their website yet I can't be for sure what the hold up is.
They claimed that there was an FRT # already for the rifle itself but we're waiting on the determination of the mag capacity

can remenber that topic have been bashed a lot when they revelaead that was a straight pull base on the smidt rubin (orthographe might be bad)

and then it got forgetten on the black side of the internet ....

I know nothing of this... Can we stop talking in code so the newbies can understand?

Big post full of suspense was gonna rock all the red rifle fans socks, speculation was an ak variant that was not a variant and would be Canada legal. turned out to be a straight pull not a semi. company got bashed way harder then necessary

A dealer (Trigger Wholesale) made a big deal about a magical new tactical rifle guaranteed to knock the s**t right out of your ass. Then someone leaked info that lead us to believe it was a Tantal (AK variant) that would be NR. Turned out to be a straight pull bolt action for $1000 and pretty much everyone was disgusted after thinking Canada would finally have an affordable AK that would be non restricted to boot only to learn it was an abortion.

These are the pics on their FB site... Apparently the actual SPBAR rifle.

I'd honestly buy one. But not a spba AK... Not when the SKS and VZ go bang bang bang bang bang reload repeat and the spba gos bang #### bang #### bang #### bang #### bang ####. I dont want to bang ####. Your one forearm would be huge though...

A straight pull Dragunov would have been much more popular.
