Aluminum Chasis Craze

these things are works of art as well as functional. I tried finding a stock for a SAKO M995 338 lapua build and was quickly educated as to the lack of stocks available.
There was a Whiskey 3 Chassis for a M995 action built for a while but availability went away by the time I got my rifle close to needing one.

M995 got a nice action, it would be a nice action to copy and make it larger for different caliber.

Kinetic Research Group still advertises that they produce the Whiskey 3 chassis in the Gen4 configuration at the moment.
 
Damn there are some nice looking chunks of aluminum here.... and another thing, they sure are expensive! I have an AI 1.5 with a Rem 722 Rec. with a custom 1.5" spiral fluted SS barrel, by Bevon King, in .308.... My precision, long distance machine. I have the Versa Pod with proper stock spigot, and one thing i'd really like to get is a B&T Mono Pod for the AI stock. I just CAN'T justify the 200.00 they want for one..... :-(

another thing. Id like to know who sells viper skins here in Canada? I'd like to get a set for my stock in tan....

I like the feel of the STAR. Wish it wasn't so damned heavy and that they made the LOP adjustable on the fly like an AR collapsible stock.
 
Might as well put one of my proto from last season, was a fun test base but gonna do some changes when time allows and redo 2 versions for mags.
 
HPS in the UK makes a nice convertible stock that can be fitted to different actions. Great for someone wanting to use the same stock for with different actions for smallbore and fullbore and F Class.
