179$ for sks at Wholesale Sports

^^lol. There were some in Winnipeg last week along with some other surplus. They've actually been mildly impressing me lately with better stock and selection than I've seen in the past couple years. Hopefully it continues....
 
Well WSS locally will equal to about $202 all said and done

At $148, shipping will be $20-30 I gather. After taxes I'm guessing around $178-185? Sound about right?
 
I posted in the other thread but for those wondering what shipping is from Arma it was 35 for one and 40 for 2 so its about the same price if you only buy one as wholesale, if you get two its about 404.54 for whole sale and 372.22 for Arma so you save 32.32 dollars by buying from Arma but like you said you wouldnt be able to see them or choose.
 
For those in the GVRD they will be $149 Dec 6th at International Shooting Supplies in Surrey

Wow though just noticed that Wholesale has 1400 rounds of 769x39 for $199, pretty cheap... thats .14 cents a round

All of this special SKS are from the same source, they are not even close to the ones coming from Ukraine. They are SKSs alright but are smelter grade per Soviet army standards
 
How picky do people need to get over a sub $200 gun ? If I ever bother to get one, I'm not going to care, it's less than $200.

I call BS on that one... lots of nice looking SKS's around I never paid over $169 for either of mine and they are in great shape and great shoots... you own any?
 
Canadian Tire here sells all their SKSs for 179 bucks each , as does the LGS......I do not see any big buy at 179 since it is CT everyday price....even if you buy an SKS on sale for 147 , by the time you pay shipping , you are back at the CT everyday price anyway.....plus you can pick and choose your SKS at CT....

There are no import marking that i can see on all the wholesale ones i got, Can tire have import marking here.

Ahh, ok. I wont judge because I collect lots of things but it's a surplus gun, how many do you need ? They likely will never be worth anything.
