Went to the FAQ section for posting pics, and said that at bottom or reply screen was to select manage attachments, this option does not appear anywhere, only reply, if I click on photo icon it asks for url, too old to understand, suing an iPad nd expected to browse my pics and select. How do I post photos, if anyone can help. Likely wrong area to post this in, but forum is not to intuitive to an old guy.
Thanks if you can help

You should be able to browse for and select an image from your device or provide a URL to a web published image.

I can, when I select the insert image icon.

Not sure browsing and selecting was an option prior to becoming a "Uber ST Gunnutz" though? That option appeared by magic one day.

If your only option is to provide a URL, you will need to post your images on a image hosting service, such as photobucket.

I cannot browse (my PC) either.

Try postimage.org/, it is much lighter than photobucket.

You upload a picture from your device after login on their site, then you are provided with an url to use on this forum. You can insert your image that way, or just provide a link people will click on to display it.

Of course the site doesn't seem to be working today...

Edit: working fine now and quite more intuitive than photobucket.

How in hellllllll do I get from photobucket to here, this is border line to infuriating, copy on photobucket, but know way to paste here, is this as counterintuitive as I think?

I want to scream, this is incredible, what year are we in, the url in photobucket is a series of numbers s etc, that continue on to.... As far as I can read on the screen there seems to be no way for me to copy it, save it , move it, or for that matter do anything with it. Any other forum I an involved with, I click photo icon, and I am prompted to use url or camera or photo album, pretty intuitive to me. Why is it so difficult here?

Right click on your image. You should get some copy options. The one I use, is properties. From there you should be able to right click the URL and copy it.

Photobucket protects your image from being copied. You should be able to grab the URL though.

I don't use photobucket myself.

Correct, sorry to seem so stupid, but I do click on it, it lists the url, email & IM, direct, HTML, four options, when's lick url, it saves it somewhere, but I have no way to access, where ever it is saved to, when I opne this reply window.

Just clicked the link in photobucket for url, says it is copied, where is it copied to, and how do I access it here, ie. What stinking icon it the top bar, allows me to copy anything to here

When you right click the url option you should get a copy option. Perform the copy, then you should be able to paste it.

What OS are you using?

Hover over the icons with your mouse pointer, there is one called "insert image" just to the left of "insert video" and to the right of something called "unlink". It looks like a square with black dots on every corner. When you click on it you will be presented with a place to paste the url into.
