Izhevsk 1940 SVT-40

PPSH sling where not used on SVTs as much as people think, The mosin dog collar sling was used the most.

The 2nd sling is a gift for a friend of mine... Numrich listed these for SVT's for some reason and they work well to lock my support arm.

The mosin sling looks weird on these models of SVT's without the hole in the stock...

Im just happy that the sling was long enough and fits.

They are 56 inches long from tip to tip. and 32 inches buckle to buckle.

I didn't use anything else, I left it in the vinegar, pulled it out and threw it back on the riffle...

I still dont know what poop you guys are talking about....

Dilligaf on mine, it was a dull gray until i took a 600 grit waterproof paper and polished the bolt in a bol of water until it came this way ( one hour ), it is worth the work... JP.

Look at it this way, I just increased the value of yours. and I will get to use mine even more onces I put a scope on it.

I have bad astigmatism, I cant focus iron sites well. I buy rifles to shoot. once Im dead I wont be able to enjoy it.

The repo mount can stay on when taking the rifle apart. The thing about the notch is if I decide to sell the SVT I will fully disclose that the notch is fake.. I wont try to sell it as a real sniper....

I will drink Vodka and speak with a russian accent while i put my bubba skills to work.

First guy can produce 2 sniper SVTs, the guy behind him is able to produce 20 sniper SVTs. Question: how many sniper SVTs will be produced today judging by the number of people in line? :)
