I will start off by saying thank you for the great service in my purchase of a mosin 91/30. I was getting one for my son for xmas , so I was looking around at local shops and some chain stores and was getting pretty bummed at the quality off there mosins. It's hard to buy surplus rifles on line in the event I don't get what I was looking for. But they had a 1938 at a price comparable to everywhere else. Took 3 days to get it and it's a beauty. Wife thought it was new, and the rifling is mint. To any one wanting a quality mosin go to there website you wont regret it.I might have to get one for my self to keep my m44 and svt40 company. I think i am starting to have problem lol.
 
Yup i bought a sks from them a few months ago. I liked it so much i bought a mosin a few weeks later. Now only if they had any svt-40s for sale.
 
what type of finish should be on a sks that appears non issued ,should it be the BBQ paint finish or a blued finish im thinking if it was a as new non issued rifle it would be a blued finish.What everyone toughts on this.

Wholesale sports is still selling them.

I just bought a great looking 1941 from there yesterday.

only unfortunate thing is they have mixed and matched their magazines in the back and could not find the penciled SN for my gun it was a bit of a gong show as they have really unexperianced people it seems a the gun counter and look at you funny when you don't just take the very first one they hand you.. regardless they have guns and magazines and once it was clear i was going to look at a few they helped me out.
no bayonets with the rifles either i found that a bit of a pissoff.

I looked at a bunch there.............they were pretty nasty from I could tell. Wonder what the Marstar ones look like?
 
Yup the first few they handed me were really ugly, the dude at the counter tried telling me, oh all svt40's are in this condition, I was like no! Just bring me more and if it looks crappy when you pull it out dont even bother bringing it out, because yea there 300$ milsurps we all get that but I personally aint buying junk that ill hate to much to even look at, if it was a parts rifle maybe but then I wouldn't want to be paying 300-330$ for a parts rifle either
 
My experience with Westrifle was not favorable either as I got a very rusty pitted bore 91/30 Will never buy from them again. Glad your deal worked out. Of all the Merchants and Members here they are the only ones I have ever had a bad experience with. My two cents.
