Norinco .223 ammo issues in my Colt AR

Does anyone else have feeding issues with their norinco ammo where the bullet gets caught up on the feed ramp and causes sunk-in bullets? I'd say 99% of the rounds are jamming on the feed ramps. I just put 5 rounds in a mag and cycled them through manually and 1 round fed, 2 rounds jammed and had sunk-in heads, and 2 jammed but didn't get sunk in heads.

This is my second experience with norinco ammo, the first time I had hardly any issues what so ever (case of 1600), this time it seems to be a nightmare (2 spam cans). It was my first time firing this rifle yesterday, and because I'm away from home for the holidays I don't have access to the PMC ammo I have to verify if it's ammo or gun related.

I have run thousands of the nork 556 through my daniel defense with only a few duds. Never heard of them not feeding properly, probably a mag issue.

Each time this has happened to me (Maybe 2 in 600 rounds of Norinco) in both my AR's it was a mag seating issue. I'd be interested to see if other ammo is doing it as well, it's odd it keeps doing it with all the Pmags, even when paying attention how you're seating the mag.

I had a few of what you described when I owned a T97, but no further issues with my XCR running LAR and XCR pistol mags

Any time I've had problems such as this it gS been with new pmags not seating fully . With use they seat perfect and now zero issues .

I've never had issues with pmags before this... Strange. I wonder if it's how they're riveted (on the side)

I hate pmags.
Had two of them fail in a competition between me and my safety partner.
Maybe they were too new, but they wouldnt seat on a closed bolt. Usgi metal mags always seat with a good twack to the bottom.

I have a case of norinco 5.56 that is destined for disposal because 1 out of every 4 rounds the bullet pushes back into case and jams. All other ammo works fine in my gun. ...you get what you pay for sometimes.
