Team Hoser January match

Hmmm. I was lead to believe there was huge demand for rimfire division. .... so far, 2 signed up.

I count five.

If you're going by the squad list via your personal match management page...
Some shooters who are registered have yet to select a squad so they don't show up on the squad list.

One question... When scoring the cardboard targets, how will the rules apply? I'm used to 2 hits anywhere or 1 hit in the 0 zone to neutralize, which has been listed in the rulebook as a secondary scoring system but I'm not sure about the primary... Please tell me if I got it right:

Scenario 1:
-2 hits to -1... Does that mean I'm assessed 2s penalty?

Scenario 2:
-I got trigger happy, 2 hits to -1, 1 hit to 0.. Am I still assessed a 2s penalty?

Thanks in advance for the info.

We're staying with the "time plus" scoring system however, as with the last match all paper targets require 2 hits to neutralize.
We're not going to be using the standard IDPA/IPSC targets though so... Don't think your target is going to be 18"x30".
Think more along the lines of a 9" or 6" circle...

Hahahaha, I already went to the Dollar Store and purchased 1000 paper plates to practice on, wife was tired of me using her Chinet plates. Maybe I'll sign up for all three divisions, I'm already there all day.

There are two or three slots available....
There will be a couple more perhaps if we don't hear from those who registered, but have not selected a squad/remitted.

Sounds good.. More appropriate for an indoor venue and easier to interpret :)

Hey 667 don't gong me from the list just yet, EMT coming soon as I finish a pot of coffee, can't function until then, and hey you know me, I'm good for it, short arms, deep pockets..... :d

Today I'll go to try out my buddy's NEA upper, adjust the dot if needed, check how the mags are cycling and get used to the trigger. Rimfire powah!

By the way, what are the match distances and how are the temperatures on the range when it's -10 outside? (I've shot a lot at BRRC where we go outside to get warm and at Colby where I can comfortably wear a t-shirt, so I've encountered a 40 degree range of winter temperatures ;) )

Edit: Am I ever glad I learned my lesson about trying things at the club before the match.. About 20-25% light strikes... Will replace the 3lb spring with the 4lb, blast the NEA bolt assembly, lube with teflon and blow out with compressed air. Hopefully I'll have time to re-test before the match
