10mm goodness

It is by far the nicest of my 10mm's but I have put in appr $2600 into my Delta Elite over the years so as of now the Colt is the most accurate but I only bought the Kimber this last fall so haven't had time to really work with it yet.

My most reliable is the G20.

I also have 40S&W barrels for the Glocks and an AA 22LR conversion kit for the G20.

If the Kimber had been released when my Colt was I would have bought it first and never bought any of the others.

Hey CC, what's your take on using Alliant Power Pistol? I happen to like my "conservative, mid-range" loads that I shoot with the heavy bullets (mostly 200s, but 180s too) and of course the gun is FAR more accurate than I am.

The rate things are going, the next time I see some 800X I'm buying a couple pounds, even if it means walking to work for a week or two. :p

There are rumors of new 10mm handguns being announced at the 2015 Shot show in a week or so. A Sig and possibly a long slide Glock.

Here it is... :)

Unfortunately no pics of the double charge of Tite Group B

Only difference now is it has a 5" barrel.

this thread is bad on my CC, now I want a 10mm and must be Colt Delta Elite! I wish that Irunguns.com has one so that I could send it to Alchemy Custom for works.

LGS here just put up a Delta Elite ss w/adj sights. On consignment with a price of $1375. Looks like new. Makes me miss mine from 1990 but 10mm ammo was even harder to find back then.

Check ARMS EAST that's where I got mine.

I'm still waiting for irunguns.com so that I could send it to Alchemy for front grip checkering, magwell, beavertail, extended safety and TAS sight installation. but I could live with the stock one like yours.

thanks for the info.

Happened the first time I loaded with an RCBS Piggyback press accidently did a double charge of 5.5gr Titegroup.

Learnt an expensive reloading lesson that day.

Had nothing to do with it being a 10mm my screw up with the press.

You weren't seriously hurt and your gun was salvageable so no reason to feel bad. I took your advice on powders like AA9 and blue dot, too bulky to double charge and not notice.

That's one reason I like blue dot. 12.5 is pretty full. Double would over flow. Should be easy to catch a mistake that way. Plus powder cop on the 650 does a pretty good job.

Oh man would I ever love to get my hands on some blue dot. Mine did a good job of burning when my home was destroyed. I can find 800X and longshot but no blue dot...

You guys are making me feel bad cause I still have appr 3lbs Blue Dot and 1 1/2lbs 800X.

I stocked up years ago before any shortage.
