Built "off" the action

The scope power thing really bugs me also.

A couple others that irritate me a lot are guys who just can't get it through there noggins that there is not a "u" to be found in the name "Brno",....it's NOT Bruno....one guy I know who has a "Bruno" rifle has a "shilling" barrel on it (or "in" it). Maybe he's telling me what he paid for it?
The scary thing is that he obviously owns a Brno rifle.......makes you question his reading skills, or if he actually has looked at the name on his rifle.

am I just getting old and critical or do these things also irritate any of you guys?

I've always had to use Bushnell as apparently I couldn't properly pronounce Leupold. :p

How about the endless "muzzle break " ??
How many broken muzzles have you come across ?

"Bare - no" makes about as much sense as "Bruno" when you look at it from an English speaking point of view. Said properly or improperly, it's missing a letter either way.:p

There are so many of these mispronunciations. You hear many call their SAKO rifles "Sayco" properly it is "Sawko"

The muzzle "break" thing bugs me as well, Rick.

This list can go on indefinitely, for sure.

Regards, Dave.

"Change out" bothers me - "change" is sufficient. Also, are people dropping "to be" or are they mixing up "ed" and "ing" suffixes when they say things like: "the rifle needs fixed" or "the action needs cleaned"?
