Maybe Ruger would do a run of 7.62x39mm if you and other dealers would commit to a minimum quantity for a special run? I've read countless threads on guys wanting cheap bolt guns in this cartridge so it sounds as though it would be popular. Leave the threading off the barrel if it'll make it less expensive to buy.

The ruger Predator is the same rifle with a 22" barrel. I just noticed the 22-250 is a 1/10" twist!

I'm not seeing it listed in the "currently available" list from my Ruger Wholesaler.

Doesn't mean we won't see it later this year, just nothing there yet or for pre-order - at least the one we deal with.
