I'm looking to get a new handgun case. I want something that securely holds at least four firearms plus some space for magazine and speedloader storage. I'm looking at Pelican cases right now but figured I'd ask around before I spend any more to see if anybody has suggestions. Also, picture dump thread I guess. Show me your awesome cases.

I've limited my case(s) to one hard case that holds (2) or my other range bag type that holds (1) comfortably and all the other stuff one needs at the range ..

pelican. buy from B&H. now it's free to ship to Canada. Even with shipping before, after conversion, tax and custom, it was still cheaper than buying in Toronto. Our Canadian pricing really screwed up.

Try Princess Auto. They have Pelican knock-offs, complete with pluck foam and the air valve, for less than half the price of a Pelican.

I second the vote for the Princess Auto knock-offs. I've had one for awhile now and it works great. I think I paid around $40 on sale. It holds 4 pistols standing upright in the foam. I'm thinking of buying the next size up to better accommodate 6" barreled revolvers.

Unless you are flying or planning on really throwing it around I can't see paying big bucks for the Pelican case.

Which size do you have now?

As I've acquired more pistols, I've moved away from smaller individualized cases to larger modular ones. Reason being I don't want to buy or have keys for 100 different locks for 100 different cases, in addition to carrying a separate case for mags, loaders, targets, etc.

May not be as pretty as with foam, but holds all my sh%t. Pelican 1510 with padded divider set and lid organizer. Holds up to 8 pistols w/ holsters, or 4 AR lowers. I'll have it set up for 4 pistols, and 2 AR lowers soon, this is the way it stands now. 1 AR lower, 3 pistols w/ holsters, 2 conversion slides, ~20 magazines w/ belt clip, 2 Uplula loaders, shot timer, spare eye/ear pro, target patches and other misc items.

Interesting thread, thanks for the ideas gents. I'll be mulling this one over for a bit. I have some pretty longer revolvers and some fairly big pistols so I want to make sure I pick right the first time.

Does anybody have cases that they know will accommodate a handgun with a red dot on it nicely? I like the configuration with the pistols standing on their butts, but I question whether that would work well with something with a typical pistol dot on it.
