acr

Congrats Mike!
Finally solved your XCR vs. ACR dilemma! Nice looking rifle!
If you don't mind me asking, why did you pick the ACR? In one of your last posts on this topic, you said you were leaning towards the XCR. What changed your mind?
You obviously picked up the more collectible rifle!

I realized that I was not interested in owning another NR 2.5 - 3 moa rifle and I couldnt get past that problem. I already own a Tavor. The blown up xcr and Robinson's explanation also heavily swayed my decision away from them. I cannot accept a blown up rifle because it was shooting factory ammo. I wanted something that would not frustrate me.

I see your point. There's a niche for all guns or else there would only be one gun for all. Hope the ACR works for you. Will you run it in matches or will it be a bench gun?

Nah for competitions Ill run my colt AR. This will be a rifle I'll bring with me when the wife takes the tavor when we go shooting in the wild and something to stretch out past 200 yards if I can find a good optic for her, a good quality light 6x would be great.

Elcan??:d I know it ain't light!
A family that shoots together stays together! You're a lucky guy! My wife only tolerates my hobby but can't get her to shoot at all!

Specter DR 1.5-6x

:p

Thats what I was thinking, but not sure about the weight.
I put the aimpoint and g33 on it now, gonna go weigh it.

I sent him a couple of PMs, he never replied back.
Thats life I guess.

Stormchaser. Same tire kicker who tried to buy my Tavor, so you guys know he has a bogus account on here (factionrr) , mods turned a blind eye and is a paintball and gun dealer . Seems to buy a gun a week and then sell it the next one

I assume you have proof of this?

I for one can't stand shady characters.

I've started noticing for about a year, they sold identical items after a week or 2 intervals, so ya I got proof. His latest was a ta31 acog about a month ago used the same pics.

Tried it out today, runs really well on 223 ae 55 grain, flawless, did 4 beowulf mag dumps as well as on the other mags, no problems.

But, On federal xm855 556 greentips it jams, stovepipe, not sure why but the empty casing had not finished exiting before the bolt tried to run a new round in. This did not occur at all with the 55 grains.

All mags work well, pmags, atrs mags, aa beowulf mags.

I don't mean to burst your bubble here, but mikethebike was talking about snotty not me. And just to clarify why Snotty is not replying is because I drove to Calgary and bought it from him face to face. I recently bought Jerek's tan and just sold my black to another member (we are meeting tomorrow).

I'm not sure why your Pissed at me, but oh well FYI you're the only one.

Feel free to put me on ignore if I hurt your feelings because I asked you about a gun you had for sale. It's a nice one, as you can see I became distracted with ACR's.

that xm855 is pretty damn hot though, could be the bolt was running way too fast on that ammo on an ACR.
Not sure, but that would edplain why the ae 55 grain was flawless.

Is that the 62gr stuff? I have had great lick with Norinco but just ordered a case of the 62gr from Canam.
