Ransom Note For SKS

i've got a gorgeous tula sks i bought cheap for a project. Really nice gun, looks like it's got 30 rds through it. my plans are perhaps the apex of bubba, and consist of cutting, welding, drilling, and replacing many things. It may even wind up painted pink. Since so many feel so strongly about destroying history, i'm going to set the ransom at $1000. Without the money delivered in three days, the rifle gets it. I feel bad for doing it but it's not personal, it's business.

Time for the purists to stand up and put their money where their mouths are!

lol

Go ahead, cut it up or do as you please. It just makes ours more valuable.

If one has a clue about milsurp rifles such as 40 years ago when Lee Enfields were a dime a dozen and people called us purists. A cut up LE is now worth a hundred bucks, but the unmolested rifle is worth 700. Some have un-issued and all matching rifles still in the grease and wax paper which are even double the value, and the reason why they are so valuable is because a bunch or dough-heads wanted to cut theirs up.

At the end of the day I have items to cushion my retirement. You, have a bastardized piece of junk thats only good for parts..

Actually, I have a rifle I enjoy shooting...and if you are seriously counting on a couple of stock SKS' to cushion your retirement, you have made some questionable choices in your life...

A rifle that cost $10 in 1960, now worth $700. So 6900% increase in 40 years.

On that metric, my rifle, one of millions, will be worth $14K by the time I'm done if I leave it as is?

Perhaps, but doubtful.

Sorry, bad math. 50 years.

They only increase in value if a bunch of bubbas hack 75% of them to pieces. So get on with it already, I'd like to retire young..... ;)

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let the SKS go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!
I thought Lian Neeson didnt like gunz hahahahaahaha

Actually, I have many rifles I enjoy shooting, but I have many more that are museum specimens. I retired ten years ago at forty, its not my choices that need examining.

OK, buy another one, ditch the stocks and weld them to the front of your quad with a trigger mechanism setup on the handlebars, then make a video so I can see it, you will make $2000 by putting it on YouTube and all the rednecks in the US will watch it so they can build their own!!

You think by bubaing SKS and making it pink it will be shooting better?
Trust Sergei Gavrilovich Simonov, he made the research and the design back in 1945, along with countles other support gun makers of USSR that made SKS a success. You think you can do better? What is the color of the sky in your world?
